
ABOUT ME
I began my research in astrophysics working on theoretical models to interpret water maser observations in star-forming regions. I developed radiative transfer and kinematic models to investigate the physical conditions and dynamics of maser-emitting regions. During my postdoctoral positions, I gradually moved toward observational radio astronomy, designing and submitting my own observing proposals and becoming directly involved in observations. I have observed with the Australia Telescope Compact Array (ATCA), 64m Parkes radio telescope, and the 30m IRAM radio telescope.

Beyond astronomy, two of my greatest passions are photography and music. Photography has allowed me to capture some of the astronomical events I have been fortunate enough to witness, from lunar eclipses observed from Guanajuato to the total solar eclipse I experienced in Aragón, Spain, in 2026.
Music has been another constant passion in my life, from classical music and opera to symphonic metal. In 2020, to celebrate the 250th anniversary of Beethoven's birth, I prepared a public outreach talk on “Music & Astronomy”, exploring the connections between these two seemingly different worlds.
More recently, photography, astronomy, and music came together in James Webb Cantata (Complete Symphonic Cantata), a three-part symphonic work inspired by some of the extraordinary discoveries of the James Webb Space Telescope. Created with the help of artificial intelligence tools, the cantata is my attempt to transform the beauty, mystery, and awe of the universe into music.
