ABOUT ME
My first approach to Astrophysics was doing theoretical work interpreting water maser data in star-forming regions. I developed radiative transfer and kinematical models that were applied to some maser structures. During my postdoctoral positions, I got involved more in observational radio astronomy, preparing and designing my own observational proposals. I have observed with the Australia Telescope Compact Array (ATCA), 64m Parkes radio telescope, and the 30m IRAM radio telescope.

My favorite hobby is photography. Here you can see a series of photos that I took from my backyard during the last total lunar eclipse in Mexico.

I also enjoy classical music, to celebrate 250th anniversary of Beethoven in 2020, I prepared an outreach talk about "Music & Astronomy" (Spanish-video). Here are two master pieces related to it. The Hubble Cantata (Prestini), The Planets (Hoslt). Recently, I presented a talk about "Our Universe, seen by Art and Astronomy" (Spanish-video), and I have also participated in the national outreach event known as "Noche de las Estrellas" talking about "Yuri Gagarin, the first man in space, 60th anniversary" (Spanish-video).
